Congressman Reed Leads Effort in Congress to Support Hospices
Hospices across the country, including CareFirst, could be financially impacted by a recent directive by the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Our local Congressman, Tom Reed, is gathering support from his fellow members of Congress to oppose this directive. Please call Congressman Reed's Corning office at (607) 654-7566 and thank him for leading the effort to hault all current directives to make hospices responsible for medications which are not related to the patient's hospice condition.
