A vital part of CareFirst's mission is to serve as a source of education for our community. We provide guidance on many different issues concerning palliative care, hospice, advanced directives, end of life issues, grief, and many other matters.

We have a flexible team of experts ready to talk to your group at a meeting, church, or dinner. We can provide an in-service to your organization or office. We can sit down one-on-one and answer your questions. We provide internship and shadowing opportunities.

We also have extensive resources available to help you learn on your own. These are just some of the ways we invest in education. Helping others grow in their understanding about coping with serious illness is important to us.

CareFirst utilizes the conversation game, My Gift of Grace, to stimulate conversation about living and dying meaningfully. Our staff uses My Gift of Grace to emphasize the importance of appreciating every stage in life and making the most of time shared with loved ones. This game challenges individuals to think about what is truly important to them through the use of insightful and thought-provoking questions. My Gift of Grace is designed by The Action Mill, LLC.

Please give us a call and we can arrange to meet your needs. These educational opportunities are provided free of charge.
