CareFirst Breath is a specialized hospice program that works with your doctor to bring expert care directly to your home. Your needs will be met by an experienced staff of nurses, social workers, volunteers and spiritual care counselors.

With the CareFirst Breath program, you can:

  • Learn how to manage your symptoms from home
  • Prevent moments of crisis, keeping you out of the hospital
  • Make the most of your appointments with your doctor
  • Have medication and equipment covered in full and delivered to your home
  • Receive the best continuum of care by starting this program as soon as possible
  • Receive 24-hour on-call service to address any concerns; we will come to you whenever you are in need.

In addition, CareFirst Breath offers support, education, and respite for family caregivers so that they can care for you with confidence. Volunteers are always available to give family members time to run errands and rejuvenate. CareFirst Breath also offers assistance to help with planning for the future.
